New Commercial building in Wellington Ohio
We were awarded the contract for all of the site preparation, foundation construction, building erection, and flat concrete for a new commercial building in Wellington, Ohio in the fall of 2008.
PROJECT DETAILS:
Excavation:
- 5,500 cubic yards of dirt mechanically moved for swales, parking lot, and basement excavation
- 5,000 cubic yards of dirt moved to create a detention pond in the rear of the property
- 700lnft of sanitary line installed
- 510lnft of 8” waterline installed for fire hydrants
Foundation:
- 10 tons of various steel sizes tied in the foundation wall
- 310 cubic yards of concrete in the footing and wall
- 32 columns containing different bolt patterns
- 10’ tall 10” thick foundation walls as well as 9’6” tall 10” thick foundation walls
Flatwork:
- 3,800 sqft of Basement floor
- 12,500 sqft of slab on deck and slab on grade
- All flat concrete to be trowel finished with a flatness and levelness no less that Ff50/Fi30
