Single Family Foundation in Bay Village
This project began in the early Spring of 2008. The project presented several difficulties for the early tradesmen on the job. Because of the Proximity of the foundation to Lake Erie, the soils required steel pilings to be driven into the shale bed of the lake in order to support the load of the house. This was just the beginning of the challenges. As of October 2008 we have not finished the project. The foundation is complete, we are now preparing to pour the basement slab and additional flat concrete prior to winter arriving.
